Blinded by the Light

Wearing contact lenses is not much fun in India - the dust and pollution is excruciating on the corneas and it's a pain in the arse using bottled water to rinse them out. What I find strange is that I'm finding the glare over here intolerable and hardly anyone else is wearing sunglasses except for me (and the Indians who put mine on when they want to have their photogram taken with me). Priti mentioned that anti-malarials make you more sensitive to sunlight and you have a greater need for sunscreen when you're taking them. Are they making my eyes more sensitive to the light too?
